Riverhill Properties owes its origin to The Morgan Creek Properties Group of Companies (MCProps), which was formed in 2000 by founder members Mark Johnson, Marcus Marchant and James Johnson, with the launch of the exclusive 25-unit Krantzkloof Falls Estate development on the edge of the scenic Kloof nature reserves. The estate was a sell out and, from the success of this pilot project a growing number of new and innovative residential developments rolled off the production line - Kirtlington Park Equestrian Estate Phase 1, 2, and 3 (120 units), Waterford Country Estate (34 units) and Clifton Hill Phase 1, 2 and 3 (216 units).
During 2002, whilst Kirtlington Park was well under construction, the directors of MCP, recognising the success of their hands on and direct sales interaction with clients, made the strategic policy decision to found Riverhill Properties cc, an in-house Estate Agency focussed solely upon selling their companies' growing number of residential and commercial developments in the Outer West region. Since inception, Riverhill Properties has achieved sales of some R820 million.
Principal, Terry Edwards and member Tracey Johnson pride themselves on the companies dedicated workforce and strong work ethic, creating a relaxed and trustworthy environment. Maxine Strydom joined the group in 2003, after spending 3 years in the U.K. and brings with her several years of real estate experience.
As a natural progression Riverhill Properties rapidly developed into a fully-fledged estate agency, and is a member of The Institute of Estate Agents and Affairs Board and Network Listings Group, offering a professional service to Sellers, Purchasers and Investors through experienced and qualified consultants. The important underlying strength of Riverhill Properties is that, in conjunction with the directors of MCP, their consultants form an integral part of the development networking process from concept to completion, and a formidable team to meet the needs of their niche market clientele.
During 2005, Riverhill Properties made a strategic decision to form an independent Letting division. Managed by Jackie Darbyshire and Claudine Veronesi, Riverhill Letting is a fundamental part of the group, offering landlords a comprehensive service.
The Morgan Creek Properties Group of Companies (MCPROPS) which now includes Morgan Creek Properties 307 (Pty)Ltd, Mark II Project Managers (Pty)Ltd and Riverhill Properties CC owes its origin to the creation of Mark II Projects CC in 1990 by founder members, Mark Johnson and Mark Taylor. In 1998 the old Mark II Projects was reformed under the new name of Mark II Project Managers (Pty)Ltd (M2PM) with Marcus Marchant and Mark Johnson, as its sole directors and shareholders. www.mcprops.co.za
